The Questors are a lively, discussion-style class focusing on contemporary Christian issues, Bible studies and the practical application of our faith. Lessons are presented by a mix of guests and class members. Striving to bring Christian values to everyday living, the group explores diverse topics.

Dr. Scott Mitchell presents at Grace United Methodist Church, Naperville, IL

Sample lesson topics:

  • "Doubt: The Movie"
  • "Sharing Mission Trips"
  • "You Don't Have to be Wrong for Me to be Right"
  • "God & the Old Testament: Setting the Record Straight"

Social events throughout the year:

  • Progressive Dinner

  • Golf Outing
  • Super Bowl Party

  • Occasional Tours
  • Christmas Brunch

  • Community Theater/Concerts

Questors Class assists many charitable causes locally and across the globe through donations and hands-on assistance, with class members providing input on which causes to support.

The Questors group encourages involvement by all members. Sharing our joys and concerns, Questors provide a personal, caring, and supportive environment. The group is particpatory, friendly, and eclectic. Visitors and new members are welcome.

Here is what some members have to say about Questors:

"If you are looking for Christian fellowship in study and in practice, Questors is the class for you. It is more than a class where you study the Bible, discuss ethics and how to share Christ's message with a needy world. Its members really care about you. This commitment to each other is nurtured by monthly social activities, e-mail messages about how we can help one another and substantial contributions to our church, neighborhood and broader world. Would you believe Questors has 31 involved officers? If you want a lively, interactive class, join us!" Ginny Lacy

"I really enjoy Questors. My wife was already attending class when I first visited. I wasn't sure why she enjoyed Questors until their friendliness and humor made me feel so welcome. Every Questors class is different with a variety of subjects and speakers. I'm never bored by repetitive rehashes of old topics. The content often challenges me as I enjoy learning along with other classmates. I'm also proud of the social concerns Questors addresses. What with the due diligence on potential recipients, I know our donations are truly helping the less fortunate both here and abroad." Bill Masters
