Sunday, October 15, is the 35th Annual Naperville CROP Hunger Walk.
If a hungry child approached you, and all you had in your pocket was a quarter, what could you buy that child? A quart of milk, a pizza slice, a hamburger or hot dog, a cup of soup? A quarter will not buy much, and certainly not anything, that could nourish a child for an entire day.
February 18 and 19 will mark the fifth year that Grace Church’s partnership with faith-based and secular communities to help Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) hand pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.
Help feed 1,000 people in need. Donate food and money on October 2.
Make a decision to change lives by donating blood October 3.
The annual Naperville CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 16, stepping off at 1 p.m. from the lower parking lot at Grace.
God is providing Grace Church with an opportunity. Typically, you hear about Habitat for Humanity through our Youth Summer Missions team. But now God is calling all of us to partner with Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity during their Faith Build 2017.
2016 marks 10 years since Grace Church member and Neuqua Valley High School Instructor Tom Schlegel died as result of cancer. Sunday, October 16, the TS5K Run/Walk will remember and celebrate his legacy.
