Come What May: Five Special Sundays This Month
Sunday, May 1 - Confirmation Sunday, 10:30am - Come celebrate our wonderful confirmands!
Sunday, May 8 - Mother’s Day, 10:30am - In lieu of our traditional Mother’s Day children’s musical, we will have a special musical offering inviting the mothers of our young choristers to join the Chancel Choir women for a beautiful Mother’s Day anthem. The Chancel Choir women will also present a haunting Ukrainian folk song, and the Children’s Bell Ensemble will ring, too! All women in attendance will receive a special gift today.
Sunday, May 15 - Music Ministry and Senior Celebration, 10:30am - Today, we celebrate Dr. Peter Jarjisian’s first year as our Chancel Choir Director with a variety of music from the Chancel Choir, including a guest violinist. Our Youth Choir will also participate for the first time under the direction of Shelly Drescher, as well as the Youth Bell Ensemble under the fine direction of Cheryl Ameiss, as we honor our graduating high school seniors.
Sunday, May 22, 8:00am - Today, we celebrate the music worship leadership of our New Life Singers,
under the direction of Sherrie Holdeman.
Sunday, May 29 - Memorial Day Sunday - Today, we honor those in our Grace family who serve/have served in the armed forces, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We also appreciate those in our Grace family whose generous memorial gifts have enabled growth in Grace in so many ways.
