Mistletoe Marketplace

By Sandy Bray

If anyone is thinking, “Why should I take the time to go to Mistletoe Marketplace on November 11?,” let me you why you should: It’s a wonderful opportunity to buy handmade gifts, made by many of your friends, at very reasonable prices. You can bring your kids and see the wonder on their faces and sparkle in their eyes as they run from table to table seeing all the pretty and colorful items. It will remind them of Santa’s Workshop! There will be a silent auction full of terrific items for which you can have fun trying to outbid your friends. It’s a chance to hug, laugh and catch up with old friends. You can sit and visit while enjoying delicious food and beverages at the Mistletoe Café. And best of all, you will feel good knowing that 100% of the money you spend on Christmas treasures will go to support the much need and wonderful missions of the United Methodist Women.

Take a breath. Take the time. Come and enjoy a few hours of terrific fellowship, this Saturday, November 11 between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., which you get a jump on your Christmas shopping and benefit those in need. To me, this is what Christmas is all about … loving our neighbors as ourselves.
