Remember the Virtual Hamball Luncheon
A Virtual Hamball Luncheon is an amazing way to raise money for missions and keep everyone safe. During this time of so much uncertainty, our mission-giving is more important than ever.
For 49 years United Methodist Women has hosted the Traditional Hamball Luncheon to raise money for mission. (This year it would have been April 17. United Methodist Women plan to host the 50th at a later and safer date.)
The virtual Hamball Luncheon works this way. Until the end of April, we are asking everyone who would have made salads or pies and/or purchased tickets at $12 each to donate the money they would have spent by clicking here. Or you may send a check made out to Grace United Methodist Women, Attn: Grace UMW, 300 East Gartner Road, Naperville, 60540.
We can easily still make an impact both locally and internationally in the communities that United Methodist Women supports while staying safe and following the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control, the United Methodist Church, and our governments during the COVID-19 crisis.
