Souper Bowl of Caring

Sunday, February 13, 2022

Grace Youth Ministry invites you to wear your favorite jersey to worship (either in person or online) on Sunday, February 13 in support and recognition of our mission to Tackle Hunger!

During the month of February we will collect food items to be donated to Loaves & Fishes, and monetary donations will be given to the Feed the Need mobile pack at North Central College benefiting Feed My Starving Children. Donating is easy! Simply drop your food items in the bin provided in the narthex. Monetary donations may be given online through PushPay, choosing the Souper Bowl of Caring drop down, or by sending a check to the church office made out to Grace United Methodist Church, attention Gaye Lynn Loufek with Tackle Hunger indicated.

Each day one in six teens across our nation is not getting consistent and adequate nutrition to grow strong and healthy. Supporting our local food pantries can help.  If each person watching a football game on any given day would donate $1.00 or one can of food, we could collectively make a huge difference. Across the world many children, youth and adults are hungry.  Providing monetary donations to Feed My Starving Children can help the organization purchase the food needed, even if Covid restricts the opportunity for volunteers to pack.

Grace Church, let's pull our team together and go for the W-I-N!
