United Methodist Women Christmas Program

Tuesday, December 6, 2022

Save the Date for Tuesday, December 6 for the UMW Program PATH to Recovery given by speaker and member Roberta Kalish along with Our Cookie and Recipe Exchange!

You don’t want to miss the in-person only United Methodist Women’s Christmas Program on Tuesday, December 6 at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. We will gather for our breakfast program and learn about PATH to Recovery from our member Roberta Kalish.

Roberta Kalish resides in Naperville, Illinois and is married to her husband, Don.  Roberta has been a trained Stephen Minister since 2014 and has worked as Health Services Coordinator at Little Friends, Inc., for over 14 years. She ensured that the adults there received all the medical and dental services they needed. Together, she and her husband raised 4 sons.  Their youngest son died at the age of 29 from an accidental Fentanyl overdose. PATH has been a place for her to find some peace and an opportunity for her to reach out to help others facing this national epidemic. Roberta has become a trained Recovery Coach, which she uses to help families and individuals who are dealing with Substance Use Disorder. Roberta has headed up our PATH Grief Support Group since 2020. Through her dedication to our mission, she has become an integral part of our operations team.

Following the program, participants are encouraged to share four dozen of your favorite/traditional homemade holiday cookies, (three dozen in a container or platter to display, and one dozen on a plate to share), along with 30 copies of the recipes! (More details to come!)

Sara Circle will be hosting a light breakfast. We hope you will join us in your holiday attire if you like, for fellowship, friendship and fun!! All women are welcome!
