Sunday, October 30th, 2016
Grace invites the Naperville community to join us in a Fall Festival on Sunday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — complete with a petting zoo, crafts, Belgian Horses, food, games, and fellowship. Tickets are now available in the Activity Center on Sundays, or in the church office during the week. Please contact Gaye Lynn Loufek with questions. Please note on the morning of October 30 the lower parking lot will be closed in preparation for the festival.

Mistletoe Marketplace Crafting Days
Monday, October 10th, 2016 - Monday, November 7th, 2016
Mistletoe Marketplace is one month away — Saturday, November 12 — and the United Methodist Women are now meeting every Monday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 101 to craft items for the sale. Any and all crafters are asked to come and lend their expertise and ideas in making items for the sale. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies or use those on hand. It would be great to see a large group participating.
UMW Book Club

Healing Prayer, Anointing Services

If you are in need of prayer, healing prayer and anointing with oil will be offered on November 5 and 19 during our Saturday 5 p.m. Circle worship services, and on Sunday, November 6 following the morning worship services. This is a time to receive prayer and support and to join with others in meaningful worship.
Grace Celebrates All-Saints with Requiem

A moving tradition for All-Saints Sunday (November 6), this year the Grace Chancel Choir, Festival Singers, Soloists, and Memorial Orchestra will present John Rutter’s poignant and beautiful Requiem at the 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. services. Services will also include Communion, and the Reading and Tolling of the Bells in memory of the departed. Please honor the memory of loved ones, or dedicate this sacred event by sponsoring an orchestral player for the All-Saints Memorial Orchestra. Full Sponsorship of an instrument(s) is also available. And, following the 11 a.m. worship, a Memorial Service will be held in the Lacy Garden in honor of those buried there and others who are being remembered on All-Saints Day. Over 50 BINGO Party

The Over 50 Fellowship group resumes November 10 with a BINGO party. Plenty of food, plenty of cards and prizes, and plenty of fun! Cost is $10. Sign up now in the church office. And mark December 8 on your calendars, as they close out the year with the a radio-style presentation of It’s a Wonderful Life.
Noisy Offering for Feed The Need

You are invited to bring all your loose change to Grace Church on Sunday, November 20 for the Children’s Music Ministry Program’s “Noisy Offering.” All proceeds help children and their families participate in Feed My Starving Children’s “Feed the Need” Mobile Pack, which is happening at North Central College February 17 and 18 of next year. Last year, a record 90 packers from our Children's Music Ministry Program participated. Start (and keep) saving that loose pocket change to help our choirs “change” the world.
Celebrate the Season

The 11th Annual “Celebrate the Season” will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The evening includes beautifully decorated tables and a catered dinner. Grace Men will be helping with the evening, and Marianne Kim, a composer, pianist and a vibrant performer will provide the program.
