If you prefer to avoid delays and detours due to the Half Marathon plan to attend worship on Saturday, April 22 at 5 p.m. or Sunday, April 23 at 11 a.m.

Russian Pastors Dinner

Join us for a meet and greet dinner with Valeri Patkevitch and Vladimir Ilyukhin, our Russian Pastors, on Thursday, April 27  at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. You will have a chance to hear their stories and learn more about their churches and lives in Russia. Valeri and Vladimir will be at Grace Church from Thursday, April 27, until Sunday, April 30.  They are looking forward to meeting our congregation and learning about different programs in which we are involved. Faith Build 2017 Trivia Night Fundraiser

Register Online or pick up forms in the church office, on Sundays in the Activity Center or download form. Deadline to register is May 1. Don’t miss the opportunity for friendly competition and a fun evening on Friday, May 5 at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  The cost is $20 person or $150 for a table of 8.  Childcare is available for children 4 and under for at a cost of $5 (must pre-register).  Each team is encouraged to bring refreshments, tableware, and decorations for their table.  Prizes include tickets to an outdoor concert  CabCab in Oswego, a Picnic Pass for 10 to a polo match at the Arranmore Farm and Polo Club, and movie passes to Hollywood Palms.  Come help raise money for Faith Build 2017! Come to see and hear how Bettye Wehrli and a group of people who barely knew each other came together to answer a challenge.  They built, flew, and crashed an exact replica of The Wright Flyer named "The Spirit of Glen Ellyn".  It now hangs in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.  Sign up will be in the church office until Mon. May 8 at noon.  Lunch will begin at noon on Thursday May 11, followed by the program.  $10 cash payable at the door. 

"A Not So Terrible Parable"

Mother’s Day Weekend on Friday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 14 in worship at 11 a.m. the Children's Music Ministry will offer "A Not So Terrible Parable" (The mysterious WHODUNIT about the Good Samaritan). This well known parable that Jesus told comes to life as a fun, over-the-top whodunit (think Clue). There's mystery...danger...surprise...and truth as we share in the spring sermon series that teaches us about "The Art of Neighboring."
