Pastor Daniel is the Associate Pastor at Grace UMC. His ministries include preaching and worship, working with adult education groups, and teaching confirmation. He believes firmly in the scriptural vision of the church as a new family whose members are united together in the body of Christ and tasked with sharing the radical love and hospitality of God with the world.
Daniel was born in California, raised in Rhode Island, and has served church communities in New York, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He attended seminary at Harvard University where he met his wife Lauren, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). They have two children, Avanelle and Chesley.
An avid fly fisherman and downhill skier, Daniel loves to be outdoors. He enjoys jogging, listening to sports radio, and loves to read. He recently completed a Ph.D. in early Christian art at UW-Madison, publishing a dissertation on early church mosaics and architecture. Whether discussing his love of travel, trout fishing, or New England sports teams, Daniel is always up for a conversation over coffee. Just send him a note at firstname.lastname@example.org.
