Children Are Valued at Grace
Children are valued by God and in our church community. At Grace, we meet children where they are, and celebrate the presence and engagement of children in all aspects of our Christian community. We provide quality child care, Sunday School classes, and special events throughout the year. Summer Children's Faith Formation
Faith Formation is so important for our walk with Jesus. Part of Faith Formation includes being in worship as a family and learning some of the worship elements. We have enjoyed having the children/youth in worship this summer and enjoy the Children’s messages at 9G and 10:30 AM. The nursery is open for ages 4 and under if you would like your child to be in nursery.
Here is the rest of the summer schedule for Children and Family Ministry:
August 4 and September 7 – Outdoor Worship
August 11, 24, 31 – There will be intentional family-friendly worship components but no Children/Youth Formation Hour. The nursery is open for those 4 and under.
August 17 – Back To School at all three worship services
It is that time to go back to school. Come to worship and get your backpacks, your purse, man bag, or other personal items blessed for a new school year whether you go to school, work at school, work outside the home, or stay at home. Pick up a special item to remind you of God during the start of the new school year. It is a time of blessing. Invite students, teachers, and administrators you know from school to worship this day. It is also Sunday Funday for the children/youth at 9:15AM. See the Sunday Funday section.

9:15AM to 10:15AM in Fellowship Hall on the 3rd Sunday of the month
Sunday Fun Days are themed Sunday school days that are typically on the 3rd Sunday of the month. These are VBS style days. Children 3 years and fully potty trained and up are welcome and invited to Sunday Fun Days this fall. Youth are welcome and invited to serve and have fun, too. This is a great time to invite friends and neighbors. Please note that November will be Growing in Faith Together (GIFT). Once your child is registered, you will receive a monthly RSVP via our system.

Kindertot

Calling all Kids under Kindergarten! Grab your favorite adult (s) and come have some themed winter/bible fun! Each week will have a different theme that includes play, music, a story, a prayer, and building relationships with other KinderTots and their favorite adults. Friends and neighbors are invited and welcome to be part of the fun. It's a great time to hang out and get to know others in a play setting.

Bible Sunday
Sunday, September 28 at 10:30AM

We invite all families to register their kindergarten and 3rd grade students for Bible Sunday on September 14 during the 10:30AM service. If your child did not receive a Kindergarten Bible and are now in 1st or 2nd grade, or if you have a child above 3rd grade that did not receive a Bible, please also register. We will make sure each child receives a Bible. Immediately after the Bibles are distributed and blessed in 10:30AM worship, the families are asked to head to the Fellowship Hall and participate in Bible navigation games and other activities. We look forward to seeing the students and their families! Please register by September 14 so we can have a Bible ready for your child.
Growing in Faith Together: Advent

This event for families with children and/or youth is Sunday, November 16 from 9:15AM to 10:15AM. Parents, Grandparents, and/or caregivers are invited to the children and youth Faith Formation hour to be with their children/grandchildren/youth. Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) is a gift of time for the family unit to learn and practice how to grow in faith together through a hands-on, interactive, and fun way to incorporate faith-filled and positive conversations into your daily routines.
Faith, Food, and Fun
Friday, November 21 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM

Mark your calendar for our next Faith, Food and Fun on November 21 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM. You are invited to this all-church intergenerational event. This truly is for all ages. More information to come. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.
Christmas Adventure
Saturday, December 6 – Two sessions at 9:00AM and 11:00AM

Grab your children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors for this intergenerational fun morning by going on a Christmas ADVENTure to kick off Advent and prepare for Christmas. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, visit with Santa, create a Santa letter, and give it to him personally! Don’t forget your phone or camera to take a picture! After Christmas, we will go on an ADVENTure seeking Christmas elements along the way. Once there, we will do an ADVENT craft and sing some Christmas carols. There are two seating time available at 9:00AM and 11:00AM with limited seating at each session. Tickets are $10 per person.

All Abilities Welcome!
Open Doors Ministry (ODM) provides support for those with special needs. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." We are blessed to have children of all abilities and we nurture, support, and welcome them with joy! We work hand in hand with our Open Doors Ministry which supports children with varying abilities so they grow closer to God and can fully participate in the life of the church.
