Saturday, February 4...Winter Book Sale, 8:00am-3:00pm in Fellowship Hall.  If you're looking to buy books, come to the sale!  If you'd like to donate books, please drop them off on the Fellowship Hall stage by Thursday, February 2.  All proceeds benefit P.E.O. Sunday, February 5..."Souper Bowl" of Caring...Let's tackle hunger together this Super Bowl Sunday, when most of us will be in the comfort of our homes enjoying all the tasty goodies that go with the big game.  Our youth will be stationed outside the Sanctuary after each worship service with soup pots for the collection of your donations toward local hunger efforts.  Please give generously! 
Sunday, February 5...Hunger Collection for Loaves & Fishes...In addition to the Souper Bowl of Caring (see above), February 5 is also our first-of-the-month hunger collection date to the benefit of Loaves & Fishes.  Please issue food items to the basket in the narthex; you may also deposit cash or check donations to the offering plates or the ceramic "love loaf."  Please place all monetary donations in an envelope marked with your name, address, phone, the amount of your contribution for proper tax credit, and the words "Love Loaf."  Please make checks payable to GUMC, noting "love loaf" on the memo line.
