Jesus said, "Let the litte children come to me." The importance of children in our church, and in our world, cannot be overstated. At Grace, we celebrate the presence and engagement of children in all aspects of our Christian community. From quality childcare to Sunday School classes, children in worship, children in music ministry, special events just for children and families throughout the year, and an attitude of love and acceptance toward all youngsters--including those with special needs--children at Grace are embraced for not only the teens and adults they will one day become, but for the treasured beings they are today. Grace is an inclusive, welcoming church. Our Open Doors Ministry provides support to individuals with special needs, so that all persons can worship and fully participate in life at church.
Bible Sunday Celebration
All Kindergarten and 3rd Grade families are invited to register their child(ren) to receive a Bible on Sunday, September 22, in worship at 10:30 a.m. After receiving their Bibles, children will attend our Annual Bible Fair in Fellowship Hall for a time getting to know their Bible through games, Bible navigation and, of course, fun snacks. Register your child(ren) here. Deadline to register is Sunday, September 15. We look forward to seeing all Kindergarten and 3rd Grade students and their families! Contact Chamus Burnside-Savazzini (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School occurs Monday through Friday for a week in July, 9 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. VBS provides a unique opportunity for children aged 3 through the completion of 4th grade to get to know God through age-appropriate Bible stories and activities, including crafts, music, games, drama, and more. Outdoor and indoor exploration is part of the fun, along with new friends and, of course, healthy snacks! Children learn about serving others, through Mission opportunities. VBS at Grace ensures that children of Grace and the community will be in a safe, fun environment, led by adults and apprentices.
